Case auto steer what’s required?

As title really 2017 steer ready tractor fitted with 700 screen as I understand it needs a receiver on roof so a 372? Or 382? Will it also need a nav controller? Anything else?

Your right It will need a 372 receiver and a nav controller. You may need software updates to the screen as its fairly crucial that software on the receiver, screen and nav controller match.

How good a system is that compared to Trimble fmx if both on rtk thanks

When it comes to accuracy and reliability it is just as good as the FMX. The differences come with other factors. The 700 screen is far more compatible with other file formats so can take maps and AB lines from other manufacturer far better than an Fmx. On the other hand if you want implement steering the 372 isn't capable of that where as the fmx can be unlocked to do it. There are plenty of other differences but when it comes to running rtk for its primary requirements they function differently but are capable of the same thing.
