Cattle/sheep management software

I know it's been covered on here before but I'm looking for some management software that comes with a phone app and is simple to use.

Been using breedr and got on well with it until recently where there's been a couple of issues, one being that I was messaged today to say that the app will no longer be free as of Thursday so they've lost the edge they previously had on the competition.

What else is out there? Mainly looking for medicine records, weights and breeding info

Happy to offer our free trial anytime. Many good ones out there just down to personal preference I guess so feel free to have a look with zero obligation or hassle …

I got that message from breedr as well. I did always wonder how long it would take to have a subscription. For us this is acceptable because of the value it adds to us I just hope that the cost doesn’t keep creeping up bit by bit.

Been using breedr since it launched and really liked it. But £30 per month with 2 days notice is extracting the pee. If they had done staggered levels like others do would have stayed, but not worth £30 per month for what I use it for, so looking elsewhere and trying to download all the data I have in breedr in the next 2 days.

Farm matters every time. I have used shearwell Agriwebb and couple others and none off them match up to farm matters. They have a web based app that is included in subscription and they are very very helpful as in adding features to the program to fit your business and very forward thinking. I have been using it for a few years now and have never had an issue

I thought @Breedr said a while back they looked to generate income by comission on selling quality stock with proven growth rates from one unit to another. £30 a month is getting close to what we Xero to operate our entire business on, seams far to much.

They offer a years free subscription if you trade 20 cattle a year with them. Which would suggest to me that they aren't moving as many cattle as they expected to

I used breedr a lot to begin with, but could tell with the amount of people they employ and amount borrowed through crowdfunding that it wasn't going to stay the same

Is their any database which is at price small scale stockman can afford??
After years with Agridata, I reverted back to manual when I reduced stock numbers to low levels, but went for Farmdata a few years ago, partially for the other record keeping available. Tried 2-3 offerings.

TBH, it is a bit too much and overly complex in some ways, but the support is excellent when I have a brain fart.
