Has anybody any experience with CTIS on tractors. we have multiple blocks of land and a system on drilling and rolling tractors would be a big benefit, just worried about the reliability of them, don’t need to be stranded on the side of a main road.

The ctis on mine is probably one of the best things about the tractor and one of the main reasons we bought it. Been cultivating today at 10 psi then drove an hour home at 20psi. 6000 hrs and it’s had a valve stick giving unequal pressures but that’s it, have known others that have had seal problems

Are you thinking of retro fitting one or buying a brand new tractor with one fitted.

I’m thinking of retro fitting them. Tractair seem to have a quite good solution, just a bit worried about pipes hanging over mudguards. Can’t quite justify the price tag of a new fendt at the moment. I think it’s something all the manufacturer‘s will have to get on board with.

We have CTS on our Unimog Sprayer even on its smaller diameter tyres the difference is unbelievable, its been 100% reliable, probably kiss of death saying that !!

Claas already have it on large series tractors and have had it on foragers and combines for years.

We have two retro kits, one on a 724 and one one a Xerion. both work well. only issue we have had is a length of bale twine manged to get wrapped around one central orbital pivot and chopped a pipe.
