Cheap tractor

Does anyone in the notts area have a very cheap tractor for sale so I can pull apart my david brown for a referb, it only has to pull a 3 ton tipping trailer up and down a field for a few months whilst it's in bits. Sorry to be cheeky but its got to be very cheap, I would use the truck but its a tipping trailer

Probably be better off spending 5k and selling it when your done rather than spending 1 grand plus another few grand trying to make some scrap usable

You may find one at that cost trouble is location there always miles away. Might be easier to ask someone to move it and chuck them a few quid each time

Can you not just hire a 50/75Hp tractor? Not sure how much constant moving of your trailer you need, but you could just have it for a day or so as and when you need it.

Does your tractor have a front end loader? If it does you could build a small enclosure out of sleepers to contain the horse dung and then move when your tractor is mobile again.

I made weight block from an old cattle
Drinking tank some steel off cuts and some dry mix for very little but it was too heavy for the dexta

Why would you need that sort of HP for something that could be done with a T20, MF35, Dexta, Major, IH B 250 etc?

3 tonne trailer once a fortnight doesn't need a tipping trailer. Tow the trailer with your truck and use a fork to empty it, or just do the whole job with a wheelbarrow.
