Claas Scorpion 7044

Hi folks,

In the market for a teleporter, current old Volvo is way beyond needing replacing. A 2015 claas Scorpion has come up not too far away and seems well priced in comparison to main to JCB/manitou for similar reach & HP.

I know they are essentially Kramer but are these machines at the this age as good a gamble as JCB/manitou.

Also eye on JD 3800 which a good bit older but cheaper too.

Want to keep budget to mid 20k - low 30k, main jobs feeding/stacking bale silage, pushing up dung and spreadable for straw.

Recommendations or views on the two machines mentioned appreciated.

Thanks
Colin

We had a 6030 it had engine issues under warranty they replaced the engine it was fine after that. Went 8000hrs on other than that just normal ware tare and service items. As long as the previous owner hasn't been scared of the grease gun

Sound , looking at one with 7k hours, so hopefully If there were production issue engine/transmission they would be known, just previous owner ware/tare to worry about
