Anyone had any problems with new clik sheep pour on guns? Brand new gun doing 20 lambs and then loses its prime?
Yes very f**king annoyed Iv got 3 in my cupboard now all f**ked and bet they’ve done 30-40 doses each 🤦‍♂️ bought a more expensive gun that was £45 and it survived doing all the rest but my hand knew about it after doing them it certainly took a lot more effort too pull the trigger

Know someone who had the New Zealand metal type dosing gun with a fan nozzle on seemed to work well, can remember the name
NJ Phillips?

I use a plastic simcro and they’ll do at least 50 litres of product before they pack up and I don’t Rinse them out except for end of the year.. I sent 1 down to @Jerry a few years ago because he couldn’t get one from his local stores..

Phillips Vetrazin gun, the orange one.
I must have been lucky, got a black plastic Crovect one here that is a few years old.

Silicone grease on the o ring helps make our vaccine guns easier to squeeze and prime, might work on these too?
I used to rebuild Vctor/Crovect guns. The blue seals worked well and lasted as long as there was lub applied as reassembling. Used veg oil or vaseline. I found it important to have lube behind the piston. Also wash out at end of the day or at the end of week if on big jobs.

Our plastic click gun has done thousands of lambs then done crovect on the ewes aswell. Only problem it has had is that the crovect makes the hose go hard and fall off I can't remember even rinsing it through
When I had issues with 4 clik guns(brand new) I got my neighbours exacts same clik gun that’s ancient and it worked flawlessly 🤦
