Anyone had any problems with new clik sheep pour on guns? Brand new gun doing 20 lambs and then loses its prime?
Never found any of them much good to be honestAnyone had any problems with new clik sheep pour on guns? Brand new gun doing 20 lambs and then loses its prime?
I feel like with the dysect & crovect style products they actively eat and degrade the plastic/seals in a very short period of time so they always leak after a week or two.Never found any of them much good to be honest
Have you found any other guns that work well?Never found any of them much good to be honest
Yes very f**king annoyed Iv got 3 in my cupboard now all f**ked and bet they’ve done 30-40 doses each bought a more expensive gun that was £45 and it survived doing all the rest but my hand knew about it after doing them it certainly took a lot more effort too pull the triggerAnyone had any problems with new clik sheep pour on guns? I use a plastic simcro and they’ll do at least 50 litres of product before they pack up and I don’t Rinse them out except for end of the year.. I sent 1 down to @Jerry a few years ago because he couldn’t get one from his local stores..

I used to rebuild Vctor/Crovect guns. The blue seals worked well and lasted as long as there was lub applied as reassembling. Used veg oil or vaseline. I found it important to have lube behind the piston. Also wash out at end of the day or at the end of week if on big jobs.Silicone grease on the o ring helps make our vaccine guns easier to squeeze and prime, might work on these too?
When I had issues with 4 clik guns(brand new) I got my neighbours exacts same clik gun that’s ancient and it worked flawlesslyOur plastic click gun has done thousands of lambs then done crovect on the ewes aswell. Only problem it has had is that the crovect makes the hose go hard and fall off I can't remember even rinsing it through
Just looked at the price! Can I borrow yours
