@7610 super q is obviously an optimist @Steevo !I make that £16.50, but to three decimal places! Almost as bad as the RPA!

There's a lot of beans being chased for this fish food contract, sounds good until you realise its linked to the feed wheat price. Now, if they were offering it over feed bean price it'd be attractive and really knock the human consumption job.Thoughts on new crop bean price? Glad I didn’t fix them to wheat futures! Would guess £195 ex Nov 19 SE England? Feed base plus premium
Are markets sneaking up a bit? Been offered £165 spot for wheat today.
@Clive may well have been right all along, I am hoping he is as my last loads don't go till May and I daren't sell my presumed balance until it has.Yes old crop finding some support. Most likely some more upside as well (if you ignore currency fluctuations).
New crop still very bearish looking.
Yes sold a bit early on, I put a field in to a second wheat and thought 3t (if I get it) at £170.00 would cover it's @rseAnyone not sold any of harvest 19 yet ?
It should have been in oats but having to reduce my W oat acreage until I get a bit better control of wild oats in 3 of my biggest and best fields, So Beans and 2nd wheats it is, I really don't like beans£510/acre + straw should cover its arse
Anyone not sold any of harvest 19 yet ?
You obviously haven’t read his usual comments@7610 super q is obviously an optimist @Steevo !
1.7 tonnes an acre of wheat 0.5 of barley and 1 tonne an acre priced on the spring oats. All done in September last year. Nothing on osr.Anyone not sold any of harvest 19 yet ?
Which way is osr going this week?
Which way is osr going this week?
Bottled out today, sold last of my osr at 302 and some feed wheat at £166, no doubt be a collapse in the pound and a rally in grain prices at end of the week
