Looking for new tyres for the combine, the one on it at the moment are rotten and 30 harvests old size is 30.5r32 so would be 800/65r32 I presume.

Thoughts are probably BKT, load ratings look ok, has anyone got any experience or other suggestions. Putting a bit of money into combine at the moment so hoping it will do at least another 10 harvests unless something better comes along, cheap.🤔

There’s some new old stock goodyears on eBay at the mo; I was almost tempted as one of ours is perished and wanted a matching pair…but Goodyear are going to be at LEAST 5 years old…new bkt 2250 plus vat. EBay ones 1500 plus vat. Think I’m going to fall out with my ocd and have the bkt

Case 1680 Axial Flow.
If spending a lot on an axial flow rebuild in the winter its worth looking at prices for parts from america.

What else are you changing? On a 1680 or 2188 if your aiming to keep it and its not been done already I would change the sieve drive supports for the 2388 type. The old channel type ones always break at some point and then smash the sieves and rails that support the sieves to bits. The later cast iron ones fit if you drill two new holes. They are 200 dollars in the states or £600 from your local dealer!

For the tyres may be try Farols? They usually have a few taken off combines when someone wants an upgrade or any other of the main combine dealers/breakers.

Already on it, although strength of the pound means 4 out 5 expensive parts for the outloading auger and throat are actually cheaper from CaseIH UK. Have done it in the past out of Florida and Iowa plus Kile parts from Washington state.
