Do you think there’s much difference between the , “off road grip”between brands makes of All Terrain tyres.
I need to replace a pair of Rodian A/T tyres so wondering if Grabber A/T may be better off road, or another make.

Love BFG All Terrain.

Don't love the price much these days.... :(

Best general purpose all terrains on the market on my opinion, if you want a tyre that will work off-road. Mileage will depend hugely on the vehicle and work being down. Only let down, is the rears get a bit tail happy in the wet when they get down on the treads... still legal mind.

BFGs every time. Grabbers have been appalling in the past but they may have solved that issue now. I wrote Grabber ATs off regularly, usually shoulder punctures, but only ever fully wore out BFG All Terrains. I see a few Coopers about but mostly BFG or General Grabber.
Don't rate Coopers personally, more of a van tyre IMO. Wear well though.

Toyo A/T will throw mud out and not clog. Fantastic grip on tarmac also.
Pirelli Scorpions are good, but they don't quite match Toyos for ultimate grip.

Undoubtedly there's a difference in off road grip between brands of AT tyres, I might try these next time, got the mud terrain grip ones on at the moment, brilliant off road and a bit noisy on the tarmac, these might suit me better. Around £95 each for a hilux

Good price.... I had them on a vehicle yonks ago, and found them decent enough, but poor wear performance.

For what it's worth, I generally find that when you get stuck in, a different tyre type would not have made much difference.

So go with something cheap.

BFG last a very long time - the trouble is the rubber compound is so hard that the grip
On the road particularly wet roads is awful. Cooper AT3 are far better grip on the road and so are Grabbers - the rubber is slightly softer and they don’t last as long - but BFG can be lethal in the wet. This is a prime consideration when realistically an AT tyre spends probably 75% of its life on tarmac - if it doesn’t then you would be better off with a Mud tyre - And yes I have owned all 3 makes
