Cost/mile of running Nissan Navara

I’m self employed and just starting with a new farm. I want to use my Pick up as all tools and equipment etc in my own truck.(21 plate Nissan Navara)
I’ll be using the truck for general farm duties like checking crops, in field repairs/break downs, irrigation etc. Very hard question but how much a mile do I want to be charging using my own fuel £/mile?
Cheers

It's not excluding fuel, that 45p/mile (for first 10k) is including fuel
That’s my understanding. Can’t justify running a thirsty pickup on that expense.
perhaps employer would make a £10/day standing charge for using vehicle as well as expense claim. (I think it’s more if towing?).
it was basically this figure 20 years ago for a fiesta!

If you want to remain tax free on the payments, check out the Gov.uk website for use of own vehicle allowances. This are tax free amounts, any further charges to your employer maybe taxable.

A pound a mile is getting near . It’s your truck. Charge your rates. If they don’t like it go elsewhere. You will average 20mpg doing that work in your truck . So that’s 37pwnce per mile for fuel alone . Add tyres and insurance and servicing. At wear and tear ( very high on short off-road journeys . Add new replacement vehicle cost…..

Its been that rate for about 10 years while the prices of the fuel, cars, maintenance, tyres etc have gone up dramatically
Old guy near me is a volunteer hospital driver ,transports people to outpatient appointments if they havent got their own car or relatives that cant take them .
He said alot of the drivers have finished because they don't get enough to cover expenses
