We are working with a college based in Northamptonshire who is renowned for its picturesque rural campus and exceptional commitment to hands-on, practical education in agriculture and related fields.
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals for the role of Lecturer in Agriculture. The college is committed to training their staff, so prior experience in education is not needed.
We have three positions available and are open to considering part-time applicants. The successful candidates will be responsible for the development and delivery of Agriculture (Arable and/or Livestock) and/or Farm Mechanisation courses.
If you are only experienced with one type of farming and have never taught, we would still be interested in talking to you to see where you could fit on the team.

Responsibilities:
- Teach and develop courses in Agriculture, such as arable and/or livestock farming.
- Deliver practical sessions and ensure safety around machinery, specifically tractors and telehandlers.
- Focus on crops such as wheat, oats, oilseed rape, and grass, as well as managing sheep and beef animals.

Requirements:
- Experience in either arable or livestock farming. Arboriculture experience is also considered. (essential)
- Minimum HNC in an agriculture-related discipline. (desirable)
- Qualifications such as NPTC in Tractor Proficiency, PA certificates, or safe telehandler operation. (desirable)
- Prepared to work towards and achieve a Diploma in Teaching and Learning.
