What is unclear is SG52 improving the efficiency of a heat exchanger, does this cover Ice builders etc & who can give me guidance ?

I would say pumps, tanks and variable frequency pump controllers.
Could be wrong though.

The pipe will be around £10/m for 4" layflat. I think my mounted reeler was around 4K but that was nearly 10 years ago.

No idea and i don;t think its really fair considering some of the equipmennt is direct competing. I would personally just perfer to pay a bit less tax and feck off all these schemes

I do the research and find said item for £5k that ticks all the boxes and is eligible.

40% on £7 K, and a smack for being clever or lucky. Most of the kit has gone up to match the grant. I would check the spec very carefully.
