France to start vaccinating high risk 5-11 year olds from December 15. Open to all that age group from the end of the year, voluntarily.

The concept of giving an unlicensed, novel trearment that has no medium or long term safety data for a disease that to all intents and purposes does not affect children seriously (In fact for the whole population 99.904% who catch it survive) shows just how bonkers all this has become. Without long term data no one knows is these treatments will induce prion diseases or cancers at some stage in the future. I can't say that they will and you can't say that they won't (as the data does not exist) but why impose the risk on children?

374,000 adverse events from covid vaccines reported up to 24th November 2021. I'm not sure how many total doses have been given. One estimate is 118 million I read somewhere but can't remember where.

144,000 total deaths within 28 days of a positive covid test (I presume they mean PCR for this) so far.

Just a quick look at the google statistics and the CFR was more like 3% globally.

CFR is just a reflection of testing numbers and meaningless in terms of assessing harm caused by virus.

Have you read the risk assessment that decided it appropriate? Not much point in asking a bunch of farmers a presumably rhetorical question when the reasons have been widely published already.

What about the broader point of trust?
The roll out rec to kids was not approved by jcvi as I recall.
Then overruledbecause their education would be messed up if they caught the virus(tested positive, needlessly missed school)
But the vaccine doesn't stop that happening anyway.
It's all nonsense, scientists monetising their credibility just as it has been all the way through.
