Dead twins last night,cow not due for a month.

New calved cows seem to be suffering from ketosis.:banghead::banghead:

Always something.
 
Left the house at 4 this morning and finally finished at 10pm. I made it home for an hour at 6 for kids bath and bath and bed time, other than that out on my feet all day and yesterday was the same. Too many cows, too many calves, too few people. Cows and calves all in good health and all staff back tomorrow morning though.

In the vacuum line somewhere. Usually nearer to the vac pump. The bit of dirt in ours must have made subtle changes which upset some cows usually the higher yielding ones but didn’t see much difference on the gauge. Worth a look at any way
