Deccox buckets

Had medicated deccox buckets for young lambs at grass for the last decade, positioned against fence behind half ring feeder so only lambs had access, got on really well using this system.
Previous buckets Came from Scotmin or Dallas Keith, depending on who my rep was dealing with, this year being told there currently is no tubs available.
Anybody managing to source any?
pro biotic buckets instead?

Would theirs have been made by Rumenco, like a lot?

Denis Brinicombe make their own, with much higher levels of Deccox than most of the alternatives, so they treat the cocci quickly, rather than slowly as they feed on the buckets daily. They won’t continually take the DB tubbies, just for a short treatment period.
I’ve just had 20 delivered, which will be enough for my (approx 1000) lambs.

Have they gone back to the old recipe, I stopped using them because they would eat 20 buckets in 2 days.

I’m having a bit of trouble with cocci, which is the best bucket and approximately what is the cost
We use Tubby 3 in 1 buckets here (covers for Orf as well as we stopped using Scabivax).

Minimum order was 14 buckets.
Came out at £35.50/ bucket 🙁
barsteward vet charged us £33.82 +vat on top of that for the perscription 🤬

They are much better now than that bad year. Have still noticed the odd pea in them as they've eaten at them though.

Edit..
Spot the pea..

I'm just about to put some of these out. The last couple of years I've had to put them inside ring feeders to stop ewes eating them. Didn't used to have to do that, are you finding it OK to put them straight out now, or do you still have to protect them from ewes in some way? TIA

Already got ours out, intakes are better buy still not as good as they were. Still quite a few peas in the mix. The calf tubs though are like the old style mix so wondering about just buying them next year.

As above, better than they were the one year, but not as good as they used to be. :( If you can easily protect them, then I would think it was still worthwhile. Damned expensive mineral buckets for ewes otherwise.

I think I'm going to try the calf ones in with them next year (think the deccox inclusion is just a little higher). If there no better then I'll just use the cheaper deccox drench at first worming. IMO they need to stop adding peas full stop, any protein in the bucket immediately sparks the interest of the ewes.

Ours are 'free for all' - all ring feeders were in use when we put rhem out.

Not seeing them being chomped too much by the ewes and to be fair they're lasting ok.
BUT, we have loads more grass than we reckon to have at this time of year 🤷‍♂️

I've only put them out (unprotected) with the March born lambs so far, and intakes have been ok.

I hardly used any last year, as I don't put them out until I think they need them, so haven't had to order any this year at all.

I'm convinced the challenge has been reduced through using hem regularly over the years, as the lambs never get to the stage where they are shedding millions of oocysts to infect the pastures.
