What should I be paying for a man and 3 ton digger to dig some ditches ? Looking at getting some work done against cost of machine hire ,

cheap. I paid £36.5 for some but a big machine like that doesn't half get some stuff done.....We're about £30/hr around here for a 13t machine last time I had some done
I expect to pay from when someone leaves their base until they finnish the job so travel home at their own expense or the next customerI charge £300 per 8hr day for a 6.5 ton machine and the clock starts when I leave the house. If it’s a few days work I would knock travel time off but for a single day it needs to be paid for.
I took a photo of their ditching bucket, nice bit of engineering
Value depends a lot on the skill of the man
Absolute weapon, sacrificial wearing edges rather than having it eat the bucket itself. Nice idea.
Looks a smart bit of kit , but a machine and bucket the size on a 13t machine would leave some very wide ditches here hence the smaller machine . What’s the going rate for a 3 ton machine and driver then ?
