Did you chase them or did they chase you if you was getting chased why didn’t you just slam the brakes on rear cross member in a Truck makes a right mess of the front of a car

I really think it's time to legalise drugs and then the criminal element will be stuffed.
Let's face it the illegal nature of the product doesn't appear to be stopping supply.
If people are daft enough to take drugs then not much we can do to stop them but if legalised then perhaps they can be helped with the addiction.

What he said!

Don’t take this the wrong way, but generally if you are selling drugs you don’t sit in a lay by drawing attention to yourself revving your engine and you don’t chase random folk in pick up trucks about in your beat up old car. More likely just a pair of pikey scum bags.
I'd agree, anyone involved in drugs generally want operate in as covert a manner as possible.

If the vehicle is registered as a transit they have committed an offence, so like a lot of cops, the one on the phone didn't know much about the law.

If you know they arrive like clockwork.

Then apply sharp objects so their tyres are destroyed - being careful not to harm other folk if possible.

Alternatively you could report someone acting strangely with a what you thought was a firearm or maybe a machete. But I suggest you do that from a location and phone that's not linked to you personally. I reported a neighbour for dealing in drugs .. but saw no action taken by the police - they are worse than useless.

How about lying quietly in your bed with ear plugs rather than auditioning for Fast and Furious 7.
It is tempting to do all sorts of harm to others but generally it doesn't end well.
A bloke was jailed for chasing and knocking down a burglar who fled on a motorbike and some have a wider community network who have no scruples about stealing or fire-raising.
Good luck

I agree to a point, but where does it end? You can’t rely on the police to protect your property or even family

I would be inclined to agree if I didn’t know just how much drug activity was going on locally

They chased me, I am no ‘have a go hero’. I didn’t think they would be the types to exchange details, I just wanted to get shot of them and get back to the family.

If they are criminals and you scare them away, they'll just carry on their activities somewhere else.

In this case it sounds like they were just out for a "laugh" when you came along and reacted when they chased you.

When you see them again, call the police and tell them you can hear gun shots. That should get some cops out

Our old house was the old farm gatehouse, and some clowns used to sit outside the gates and eat junk food, smoke joints, and throw all their crap out on the road and then start up and screech off in their souped up piece of sh1t car at 2 in the morning, until one night some innovative individual went and looped a big long 1 inch rope round one side of their axle and the other end to a tree.

couple of weeks ago my son was in his allotment, Him and others heard gunshots at indusrial estate over fence, they could see a couple of cars and scumbags there, phoned police,,,, you know what I am going to say ,,, yep, still waiting for police to show.
Few year back some summy with dog and his little kid ( well it may have been his,or not) in my field, fired a pigeon scarer rocket across field as there were pigeons on my wheat  did not notice that he was in the direction of where the bang was. anyway, seen him going back to his car and he drove like a scumbag (you may notice I like that word) down main road and past me the did a 6 point turn and drove straight at me, He may have noticed the big rock I had in my raised hand, but he missed, stopped and hurled abuse at me and my wife that he was going to come back and get my family.. ALL the while I was on the phone to local cop shop and the officer quite plainly heard the threat, NO NO not a real threat she says, Utter waste of time the police. It unerved my wife for a while after wards. anyway, the scum quickly drove off when I walked across the road towards him. All this with a 7 or 8 year old kid with him. Oh, the car did not exist by the number plate.
