Drawbar or pickup hitch

Thanks for all of your replies this is for vaderstad rapid behind a valtra. Drawbar is only a foot longer, but yard test gave me a turning circle about 1 5 metres shorter.

Have a 3 point hitch on 3m rapid. Turns beautifully. Added bonus is that it lets you raise and lower the front of the drill to aid contouring

The other alternative to make turning easy is to make the headland wider. With my 6m vaddy i usually put in a 27m headland (24m tramlines) with a half turn to get the tramline in the right spot.

I thought the main reason for changing to those was so your neighbours couldn't borrow your trailers.

They do look to extend the hitch point back a few inches compared to pickup hooks though.
