no problem with 250mm rows imo

i found 12mm metcalfe to narrow though, seed tubes wear

i'm running 25mm dutch openers on my Horsch Sprinter at 25cm row spacing. The only real downsides are the wide rows can be bad for blackgrass etc if you have a weed issue. They work best straight into stubble and when its wet they don't pull up lots of wet lumps like wider points. The main downside is if you have a blocked coulter it looks even worse than normal!

Running 12mm Metcalfe on on 250mm rows have had no issues.
Don’t need to run tubes in soil so wear not a big problem.

I found the 12mm point and 250mm row width
Maybe good for black grass but i found the lack of competition for brome can make the weed a bigger problem.
