Had a starter go today on one with 3000hrs. £650 odd service exchange.

Why cant u get it fixed by local auto electrician

It was parked in front of workshop and wouldn’t start, it’s probably £300 more than a repair company would charge but there aren’t many left now in Wiltshire/ Hampshire and they would be a week if your lucky.

I used to go to a man that woulda been 2-3 weeks repair time but i fell in way a man that generally does it while i wait and its usually between £25-£45 to fix any starter iv had broke

You have a gem there, I have a good friend in Wales who can call upon all sorts of welders and electricians and other trades that we could only dream of an hour from London.

Yes, workshop of 50 people sitting at their benches, I used to deal with them and an A1 service, most of the employees in the cemetery and long closed.
