Does anyone have something for recording fertiliser and slurry applications that produces a running total?
I use the “Rhiza Digital” software (toolbox) its part of a field mapping package but I find it great for creating a nutrient plan as it gives you the total N for all your applications. The red tractor man likes it as well as I print all the field date out. It’s hand to have the paper copy in the tractor when spreading for reference too.

This year i was rather busy and ended up using a tiny freebie notepad and pen that some chemical company left for me, along with my iphone pocket calculator. I managed to spread 29 tonnes and ended up with just 150 kg over, which I whizzed onto the best looking wheat. I will fill in the Tried and Trusted record sheets when I get time but it's been done right which is all that matters. I have tried all sorts including excel but it gets involved and tiresome like a lot of these software packages. Busy trying to fool QBooks at the moment into accepting a lump sum VAT payment across two months. Wouldn't have been a problem on paper but QBooks being a dumb automaton wants a payment per month, not two months lumped into one payment and it just can't cope. yet another occurence of being a slave to a system rather than it actually helping me. Accountancy bill dearer than ever. No saving in time or expense. Same old same old.
