Woldgrain is a cooperatively owned grain storage and processing facility, handling a variety of combinable crops grown within 65 miles of Hemswell, Lincolnshire. Current storage capacity is 100,000 tonnes on one site, with planning permission in place for a further 50,000 tonnes of storage to be built.
Due to an impending retirement we have an opportunity for a storekeeper to join our team.
The role will involve:
- Drying, cleaning & blending grain using a modern, computerised system
- Loading and tipping vehicles (up to 120 per day at peak of harvest)
- Repairs and maintenance of plant & machinery
- Working as a part of a small team
- Experience is preferred but not essential
- Full training will be given
- An agricultural background
- Good mechanical skills (electrical skills a significant bonus)
- Good IT & communication skills
- Telehandler certificate
