got one on a PH on its own & front press both very good.
Not cheap but give little if any trouble.
Well made stuff & can be custom suited too replace any type of roller in anything really
But its all at a cost.
Never had one on the PH Combi Drill but temped right enuff.

You dont need scrapers even tho they come with a light type but its more bother for catching a small stone & stopping the roller turn.
chuck them off if its that wet you cant travel with anything else.

As a late dealer friend to me who sold them from stock they are the solution when you ask for a quote as your struggling with your packet you cough as they are too expensive and say you’ll manage as you are. Then next day you come back pig sick of your packer say you’ll have one and he said he never had anyone who regretted buying one and once they’d had them they never thought they were too expensive. And yes we have 2 and wouldn’t go back but they are expensive

Got one on the back of our Weaving Discerator, have managed to block it once (not a lot of fun to unblock!!) but have found if you keep plenty of weight on the packer it'll keep turning almost regardless of conditions. does a great job.

Ha ha I thought it was all too positive, what do think is negative with them ??

iv got a gutler roller on a cultivator and it’s ok in the dry but in anything dampish it wet it just blocks and smears. It’s very heavy right at the back of the cultivator to. The price of them compared to benefits wouldn’t make me buy one.
The gutlers they use as press wheels on direct drills look very good tho!

Not used either in wet soil to comment as if soil is wet for drilling or working it you shouldnt be in the field.
Is this on a cultivator pulling stubbles up possibly? I have a DD Lite on Horsch Cultivator for that job & it works fine.
but again its not that wet otherwise your wasting your time being there as the tractor will just skid on the top anyways

Different Land will show flaws up in any type of machine. & one persons soil/wet seems so diff to another's

You can get Synthetic (Plastic essentially) rollers for such jobs when roller weight needs to be saved.
There still the same Prism design tho
