My vote goes to Tim smith.
I may be teaching you all how to suck eggs .
The KG tines can be used ,on grip or off grip for putting clod’s on the Surface or fine soil.

Nonsense, you can probably take 100 acres of each tine as whenever a tungsten tine hits a stone it snaps at the bottom in holes.
Used to always buy tungsten but was disappointed
nonsense eh will get you a time out what has done just over 2000 acre
different land to yours so how can you make a broad statement
on the silts and black in normal going it just polishes stuff would last 10 times as long to one field at other farm if you plough more than 4 mph you can see points disappear with the sand and high flint content , if you destone it the stone in bed bottoms are enough to make a road

Sorry, I was probably a bit abrupt.
The tungsten tines, if they don’t snap off at the bolt holes, will do 10x more.
However, in my experience, only around a quarter make that time, the rest snap off and are replaced after a few hundred acres or less.
Tungsten plough points are great.

with regards to the tines, I think the welding affects the strength of the steel at the bolt holes.
Just what I have found

I get my genuine tines from Tim smith they’d be worth a call for a price if you haven’t already. I have used pan Anglia tines but I have snapped them on stones so won’t buy non genuine anymore.
Had same problem with pan anglia tines, they said no one else is complaining. Genuine aren't breaking and last alot better twice the price but no headache.

I got through 3 sets of kuhn tines on a KG this spring all for the price of 1 set of genuine amazone ones. Don't think they last quite as long but not that big a difference. Reckoned it's alot cheaper over all. Sure they were 11 or 12 pound each
