Not sure about 200L drums but definitely can, we enquired recently if there was much of a saving buying it in an ibc over 20L cans and it was next to no difference and a bit more hassle so still using 20L cans.

I asked the same question today of agronomist. Ideally I wanted 600L IBC but only pack size options from them are 20L and 1000L IBC - large national agronomy firm.

Seems crazy theres no saving in bulk. 50 plastic cans going to waste as well! If we used enough I'd by IBC just to save on the plastic

Only ever buy glyphosate ( of any strength ) in 1000 litre IBC
Quite a significant price different to buying in 20’s, plus a lot less empty containers to deal with

We only enquired on prices we've never had an ibc of it, the hassle of getting it into the sprayer was part of the reason to not have one though we would like to save on 50x 20L cans creating a lot of plastic waste. Have seen a frontier branded filling system online that looked smart but seems to only work with frontier supplied ibcs of Roundup and probably isn't cheap!

Had IBC’s of Glyphosate years ago, had them on pallets with a tap and 5lt jug. Then they stopped the tap and we had a wisdom closed circuit. Jug was quicker!
Now always have 20lt as no price difference.

I’ll spray 3-4000 acres of roundup a year. Tried all sizes of containers and various ways to get into the sprayer. Still find the 10 litre cans quickest. between fetching the loader to move an ibc or barrels both of which are difficult to clean out and measuring out of them the cans make more sense for me. No cheaper here if anything its more because the Ibc needs paying for some how.

I think it would be impossible to find a spraying contractor here if we were using 20 litre drums . . .
