Grazing HEAR OSR volunteers with cattle

Morning all,

We have some OSR stubbles fairly greening up and won't be drilling for a few weeks. I was considering putting the cows and calves on for a few weeks to utilise the volunteers. There is a grass margin and I can use a nearby grass field as a runback as well.

Anyone had any issues with this? The rape is HEAR but never seems to cause the pigeons any harm.

Pigeons would never touch HEAR 20 years ago, supposedly because it had a bitter leaf. The variety will be long gone, and it was probably a varietal trait rather than a HEAR issue.
