Following on from the great help you gave with my derelict field ... weed war battle no. 2 Docks (and nettle and thistle) in places I don't want to plough and reseed .... I was intending spot spraying the patches or weed with Grazon Pro. Should I just use this as instructed or is it advisable (like with Glyphosate) to use a water conditioner. I will be using moderately soft (according to the water board) mains water.

Tap water is fine.

Be sure to read the label; https://www.corteva.co.uk/content/dam/dpagco/corteva/eu/gb/en/files/labels/Grazon-Pro-label.pdf

Ideally read the label before you buy the product!

I find thistlex works better on nettles and thistles.
advisable to use a water conditioner with it one I used other day (activate G) is £15 for a litre if I remember correctly.
Your nettles and thistles may have gone to strong now for spraying a picture may help?
