Last time this was mentioned past-me did at least look in to it, but insurers said "nooooooooooo" as did H&S. Seemingly the best workaround to avoid huge potential issues would be to rent the poster a bit of ground, deliver a ton tote bag of manure, and essentially turn as blind an eye as possible.

Letting someone knowingly come play in your midden is a no go.

Thing is, if you drive around my bit of the East Midlands it's not hard to find an "unguarded" muck heap.

Tote bag of manure, a paddling pool full of water, ideal. Mind if I wear my PVC?

yeah I assumed that would probably be the case, transport is limited for me as I don’t hBe car access but I have on occasion thaught about just going out and seeing what I could “find” - but honestly having not done it for years the fear for me of being caught as a grown man makes me much prefer the “open minded farmer friend” approach - thanks for posting back i appreciate it

The situation is that for some pound notes most of us can supply you with muck, privacy etc. What we can't supply is the framework to do it in without serious liability issues. Whereas it may be a case that you know and welcome the risks, your next of kin / hse inspector may not.

So provide a legal / insurance framework that absolves us of risk, and a few £20s and I'm sure most here would be fine with it.

We are generally averse to a) risk, b) threat of numpties with clipboards, c) stuff turning up on YouTube.
