How WeedSeeker is installed?

Very expensive. There will be one of those sensors every meter if not more. The sensor will control up to 5 nozzles I believe. Each nozzle has a pwm valve which opens each time a weed is sensed. Best run on fixed height trailing booms but more are getting added to suspended booms these days.

These are very popular around here but at close to $400,000 for a 36 meter machine there needs to be a lot of ha to cover to justify one

Interesting. If my reading is correct, WeedIt is a trailed sprayer, which might explain the high price tag. I think the WeedSeeker are just sensor modules, which are fitted onto third-party booms. I wonder how these modules are supposed to be plumbed, powered, fixed, etc.

weedseeker are basically the same as weed it. Weedit have joined with croplands to provide the full package here and croplands are now selling into Canada.

the weedseeker is now an isobus unit meaning it will run on most gps displays which everyone has here. Power for them will be from this although it wouldn’t surprise me if they needed an additional power supply. Weedit need power direct from battery. Plumbing seems fairly simple on weedit, there is constant pressure in the line and constant travel speed so when nozzle opens the flow is there.
They just bolt to the boom but because of the weight this is why the trailing boom is popular.
