Hydraulic toplink for Onepass

Been thinking of getting one of these for my one pass, I thought it would be handy for working the power harrow more deeply in cobbly bits of soil and then lift out a bit on the finer stuff, all on the move and from the tractor seat. The only thing it might affect the depth and pressure of the coulters on the drill. Does anyone else use a hydraulic toplink on their one pass for this purpose?

I've used one for years. Good for making fine adjustments to following harrow if not covering seed enough.

I'd like a couple on the power harrow between it and Coulter bar. Save adjusting it by hand

Probably need two hydraulic toplinks as you say, one on the powerharrow and one that bridges the harrow to the drill. Pity powerharrow manufacturers wouldn't put two small rams on where the packer roller adjusts. When your doing a run from one end of the field to the other the soil type can vary alot

We had a neighbour that had that. Not sure if bought like that or modified.

Handy for grass seed, could take Coulter's out of ground and blast it on ground. So didn't grow in rows.

Kuhn is like that but you can't get both rows completely out the ground . Suffolk coulters could be different. Wouldn't be any good with an old accord with belt driven fan

I've hyd Coulter lift on my kuhn one pass and lifts right off the ground. Only trouble is the shaft from the land wheel catches on the coulter bar depending on the tine length.

We're seedflex disc coulters and you can't get the rear row out and still have the following harrow on the ground

Keeping the following harrow on ground would be issue with Amazone. Don't know if grass seed requires harrow. Have seen some people just broadcast it off Cambridge rollers

I've lifted the coulters right up on my amazone and seemed to get a lovely even spread of grass seed, then it all grew in lines anyway🤦‍♂️ think the following harrow flicked it all into the ridges left by the packer roller.
