If im right, i can harvest wheat, plant SOH3 summer cover crop (£163/ha), destroy it in say late Sept. Plant CSAM2 winter cover crop (129/ha) then plant spring crop........
oh and add in Direct drill (73) and Companion crop (55) and insecticide free (45),......

Cant be arsed with the maths but that is less than £500 minus costs per Ha..
Not worth the paper the civil service wrote it on really? Just rent that land to a farmer for no risk?? Very unappealing offer..
That loophole will be closed very very soon...

That is correct

You can also broadcast your companion crop into standing crop in July and then you have your summer cover crop and winter cover crop sown in one go as long as the seed mix ticks the boxes

How are you harvesting wheat ,planting a summer cover crop and destroying it by late september?
The weather would really have to play ball or the requirements would not be met.

SOH3 states between harvesting a cash crop and either sowing the next cash crop OR sowing a winter cover crop. SOH2 (spring sown cover crop) also allowed to follow a winter cover
