Ideas

Evening chaps, I'm in need of picking your brains.

I'm tired. Like, ridiculously tired. And I find the only way to get round it is to work and push myself, or I stop and I sieze up and flag and am useless for days.

I need some ideas of things to do.

Remap work is great, and immensely satisfying. However I'm getting a lot of flack from some people. And business is difficult enough without competition sabotage.

I'm a decent welder, engineer and can turn my hand to most things.

Set up a half decent workshop, but I'm just... Bumbling. I need ideas.

So, hit me with them. Got all the Remap and diag gear, welders (mig, tig, arc, brazing) tools etc, electrical bits and pieces.

Give me a message, all ideas wanted [emoji23]

@Alternativedairy What flack are you getting?
A fair bit for "fight club" removals. It seems someone has gathered up a load of people and directed them to me to prove a point [emoji849]

As well as a fair few people who are in the trade and attempt to pick fault with my work as I haven't been in it as long as them, even though I've had no problems and nothing but positivity from customers.

What do u mean fight club removals? Wouldnt let them bother me if i was u. Long time ago i stopped carin what others thought. I try to not offend ppl but if they wanna be cross, jealous or offended sure thats ther problem. Id say call them out. When we were bankrupt lota locals were doin plenty o talkin and exaggeratin stories but when we rang them up or arrived in ther yard they wernt so big and apologisein all over the show. The man that shouts the most is usually a big coward. Thats my advice anyway

People from the forum?

Perhaps they ought to go to China/Eastern Europe if they want to save the world and get them to start fitting emission controls to machines. When I was at claas factory more than half the combines, foragers coming down the line had no ad blue.

Get your name in print. Nobody on here knows who you are and only that you are from "South Wales". Quite a few on here seem to use a business name as a screen name. Get your local newspaper and radio to do a profile (but you'll need to be doing something unusual and interesting and write most of it for them!).

Usually a good sign that you are doing a good job if established people start getting nervous about your work.
As has been said before, fight club removals are legal in the applications in which you do them, if anybody has any "moral" hang up then it's purely an excuse to stand on a soap box and spout fake moralities.

Crack on what you are doing
