Isobus case pro 700

First week of using a isobus drill for me on my case afs pro 700, what's the correct procedure for disconnecting, I get 3 warning screens when I unplug at the end of the day, which can't be good. Plus I can't change implement on the screen now even when drill not connected as it says it is, so I can't use anything else on the GPS now as it thinks the drill is connected, when the drill is actually not connected it wipes the meters of the machine saying it's 0 meters wide so I can't even use an AB line. Any help would appreciated as dealers not doing much at mo.

I have mentioned your issue to an engineer with CNH knowledge, depending on the age of the tractor the display may need a firmware update. This will have to be done by your dealer. Have you tried connecting/disconnecting the drill with the tractor while the machine is turned off?

Thanks for asking the question, the whole tractor has just had the latest update, as in screen, nav and receiver, we did it before unlocking the task controller. When connecting I’ve now learnt to power up the drill first then plug in the isobus cable but no matter what I do when unplugging I get error screens, the implement problem is solved if I uninstall task controller, bit of a faff but it works, just a pain that the screen needs to reboot after you install/uninstall TC.
I get the following error screens, can live with it but seems a bit naff

The alarm messages are there to warn you in cases of the implement becoming disconnected from the tractor. For example, if you’re seeding in the field and the connector came loose it’s helpful to know that the seeder is no longer connected and the VT screen has been deleted. For some implements it’s important to know that because the implement is stopped/started using the VT screen so it’s nice to know very quickly that your seeder has stopped seeding.

When you are intentionally disconnecting the ISO connector to remove it from the tractor then you are essentially replicating the scenario above so the alarms are also displayed. Because you know you have intentionally disconnected the implement then you can ignore the alarms.
Seeing alarms when you disconnect an ISO implement is fairly normal for most VT displays.


The issue with selecting the next implement is happening because you have Task Controller enabled. Because it’s enabled the display is expecting to see an ISO implement connected.
When the ISO implement is disconnected and you want to select/setup a non-ISO implement then you need to set Task Controller to “Not Installed” in Toolbox>TC. Then you will be able to setup your non-ISO implement in Toolbox>Impl.
It’s a bit of a faff but that’s how the logic works apparently.
