We have two Isuzu D-Max pickup trucks.
One of them developed a fuel system failure at 40,000 miles while still under extended warranty to the tune of £5,000 plus in needed repairs.
The fuel filter was changed as per schedule in the manual and we have completed the basic maintenance of oil and filter changes.
Isuzu has denied the claim stating that we have incomplete service records. They have specifically stated that there is no record of replacement for the differential oil, nor for the AC Pollen Filter.
Isuzu refuses to explain what this has to do with the fuel system, but simply states that we have voided the entire warranty by not performing every item listed in the "Schedule of Inspection and Maintenance Services".
Never mind the fact that the vehicle was at the local Isuzu Dealer for the 36,000 mile service, but the need for none of this was brought up at that time.
NEVER, NEVER will we EVER consider the purchase of another Isuzu vehicle of any kind.
