Itch Mites in Straw

Hello, I believe I have itch mites in the straw as the sheep are beginning to scratch in the house. Has anyone experienced this and how do you treat?

NO NO NO!!

Bimectin is an Ivermectin injection that will not have any effect on Lice, it is a broad spectrum wormer and unless sheep have a worm problem then there is no point in using it and it is quite expensive with a 66 day withdrawal.
Lice treatment is simple and relatively cheap to cure using a pour on as a pin stripe down the back.

Lice aren’t going to live in the straw but. I believe it will be a harvest mite or something similar.

A pour on treatment gets rid of them, too
It is inexpensive. Deltamethrin 1% w/v, at 5ml per sheep applied as directed covers them for ages.
