Jcb boom suspension question

I've a 2000 jcb 530-70 telehandler, it's not got boom suspension but I was wondering if I fitted an accumulator bottle somewhere along the hydraulic pipe that goes to the ram that's lifts the boom will it give them boom suspension? I suppose it'll be a double acting ram too so possibly need two. No doubt it won't be as simple as that but I thought I'd ask the question anyway. I'm sure it would transform the telehandler if it was possible

My manitou lives in auto most of the time, where the suspension is deactivated at slow speeds. I do put it in 'forced' mode to give a bit of float and save the bucket edge when scrapping/brushing up. If you reverse out of a pallet like this, with a little weight still on the forks, it's brilliant at putting 2 nice holes in the bottom bags as the weight comes off.

Now Then..
No you can't, is the simple answer..
A telehandler has check valves in the lifting cylinder to prevent boom movement in the event of a hose failure.
Those machines with boom suspension have many fancy valves to overcome it..
Take a look at the parts pages on the JCB parts website..

not possible that way, fit a proper kit from JCB or leave it alone

Thanks I was thinking the check valves would stop the flow back and forward in the ram myself and was waiting for someone else to say it, it's a pity cos it's a solid lump to be traveling across bumpy ground with
