Are you sure its diesel ?
Be careful you don't bend a rod with liquid on top the piston

Check your other 5 injector s . It is possible it's more than one that is faulty... Ps your lucky you haven't got a missing cylinder as fluid on top of piston will wreck it.. Which it will if you can't find where diesel is coming from & get sorted.

As above your lucky no wrecked piston, I had it where injector on number 1 was leaking , bits of piston melted , smashed the valves , head , bits sucked through turbo etc. The result is it cost us 8.5k to rebuild it. Get it fixed , just go to JD stealer as your first loss will be your cheapest. That is to get it fixed.

The amount of work there is involved with changing these injectors, I would use genuine JD Reman injectors.. They have 12 months warranty..
Have you replaced the copper washers on the bottom of injector bore and used the correct installation procedure??

I have a source for genuine brand new Denso's at hugely less £££ than the dealer, cant trust the reman ones ime.

As for installation, I was thinking about if spill could somehow leak into the cylinders when it's shut off, but he'd have lots of chuffing when running from combustion gasses or it inflating the diesel tank from same if the injector seat was cracked etc ???
