Recently seen a couple of videos on you tube with operator’s running Claas 3100 / 3200 front mowers and 3050 / 3150 rear mowers.
I thought the 3050 was only available in 540pto and if so how are they operating the front at 1000 rpm?
Any one have any experience operating this combination?
Thanks

Puma 160 here with front and back mower front does 1000 and back is 540 though back is actually at 500 when front is at 1000 doesn't make a difference from what I can tell.

No used a 3050 rear first time started PTO and started to mow sounded like a bag of spanners and cut was crap messed about abit then thought I'd try it in 1000 sounded alot better and mowed cleanly

I have a front & 2 rear mowers, 1 is 1000 & the other is 540, run the front with both of them.
Only problem was when ordering tractor the std pto speeds were 540 eco, 1000 & 1000 eco, which I almost went with not thinking, got it changed just in time.

If it has the 1000 box spline use the 540e box or the 740box. Thats what you use it on. Its just saves diesil.
