Was on a farm a while back. They were making very good money hiring out part of the farmhouse and gardens to hen parties for the weekend. They’d organise DJ’s/waiters if required and had popped a hot tub in the garden. It actually all looked a bit rough but they had plenty of clients apparently!Hen night? ?
So that’s why that “farmer” was asking about telescopes the other night! Watching the Hens! Was on a farm a while back. When you buy the appropriate implement let me in on the secret cos I haven’t sussed out what it is yet?????Excellent suggestion. I’ll go and buy the appropriate implement tomorrow.....
Leave the tractor in the yard and buy a lawn mower and go out cutting lawns, a mate now charges £40/hour for cutting lawns.
I tried that last week but nobody seems to want my services in Jan (or Feb come to that).....
I had someone a few years ago asking me to spread 400 acre with a small dose of fert i said £3/ac. He said mad to expensive! I can get someone to do it for £1/ac! I said go fet him thenUsed to regularly go out spreading Nitrogen
£3.50 an acre 500 acre a day without breaking a sweat, tractor using bugger all fuel ?
my eldest drives a fastrac spreading has a loader fitted to it ,so can load himselfWould need something to load it though. No loader of my own.
Got a 200hp tractor (Fastrac) sat idle at the minute. Soon going to have some spare time on my hands so plan on putting it to work. Don't want "man and tractor" jobs. So what one implement would generate the most return? I'm in North Lincs.
Best paying job.... How about sell the tractor and stick the money in a savings account won't cost you anything then
