Had a few a while back put Texel tup on them and lambs looked good but always killed 4 and 5 with a massive reduction in price. Need to say they I have none now 🙈

Dad had a few rams years ago for a bit of an easier lambing ewe. It worked and they were hardier lambs but ewe lambs after couple years were a bit wild and store lambs struggled to shift. Went back to a texel and suffolk rams!!! That’s what I remember of them anyhow!!

Wouldn’t put a Welsh badger on them, you’ll breed something and nothing!! If you’re selling the lambs to earn anything you either need to keep pure so you can sell the ewe lambs or put a good thick terminal on them! Suffolk used to be a good tup on a Kerry, good bodied lambs and could still keep the ewe lambs if you wanted!!
Thats my opinion, others are available
