Anybody got one or had experience of one?

Are they any good / reliable?
Are the little bales they produce handle able but horse type ladies?
They don’t have to produce multi bales all the time do th

seen a couple advertised but have very low bale counts for there age are that telling me something about reliability? But am being asked strong money for the year

thank you as always for your help and advice

Good baler, used to run one but swapped for 870 multi bale. The multi bale bit isn’t much use tho.. have to drive too slow and the mini bales are too big to lift for horse ladies. Need a sack truck really. A good quadrant sized baler all the same.

Ran a 1270 for a few years .. the knotters are basically Heston knotters so knotting problems were just the same as any other baler really..… the multi bale function works pretty reliably and you can bale up too about 2ft section bales but you use a serious amount of string !! Pretty sure we charged an extra 50P per knot in the bale .. as a whole the baler was actually pretty reliable but if there was a problem the dealer was very very steady at sorting it and had no parts on hand ect…

What do the mini bales roughly weigh or is it the physical size that makes them unmanageable by hand?

Not sure on weight but they were roughly 2/3 flakes per band .. an 8ft bale was about 7 sections max I think… most places we used too do them at would be an 8ft bale split into 3 bales, something that was light enough too roll around but you Definatly couldn’t carry it .. got an expensive bale if you did full multi-bale

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
