Maybe nothing new but still a good listen.
Still find it fascinating that some folks have to get out of the pit to get their cows to come In.
Guess it depends to some extent on your feeding system. No parlour feeders, no incentive to come in for a fresh feed of grass, fully fed TMR Holsteins are not inclined to rush to the parlour entrance!

One classic; I knew an old boy who had 2 oopfs in the collecting yard, cows had access to the yard 24:7. They had 2 in the parlour purely as 1 needed to push cows in but no one seemed to think this was unusual.

It is when you are used to not pushing them in and you finish milking, clean everything down etc only to find one miserable bugger stood at the back of the collecting yard in the dark just chewing her cud :banghead:
