Hi just wondering what the price is for rented land for dairy please
Grazing platform?
Long term FBT or annual grass keep?
Who keeps the subs/SFI?
How land-constrained is the area, and is there a digester competing?

Rough guide for sensible ground between £100 and £250/acre/yr.

For the right unit in the right place with the right soil, good infrastructure and buildings you could afford to pay a lot. All you have to do is pay £1 more than the other bidder and persuade the owner you’re the right tenant.

We pay from free to £30 , not technical dairy but allows us to get cattle off youngstock farm to be able to make enough silage for the milkers
