Leatherman Wave
First one lasted 20 + years, till I broke the blade doing something stupid. They replaced it under warranty with the new updated version.
Use it every day
Never carry them or knives etc in pockets, always in a belt pouch ( this one made by a local saddler )

The Wave is made out of very good quality stainless steel
A knife blade, serrated knife & a saw blade.
Very good pair of scissors ( very useful ), quality Philips & flat screwdriver, needle nose pliers & a wire cutter.
Very strong

+1 for leatherman wave

IMO if you're working with dogs and livestock, having the ability to cut animals free of wire fences is essential.
I had a real scare with my best dog a number of years ago when she jumped a fence and got her back leg stuck by getting it between the top of the net and the barb, twisting them over the leg.
Randomly I was carrying some pliers so could cut her out.
Bought a multitool next day, carried ever since.

Leatherman with cut HT, cheaper tools will really struggle

Leatherman sidekick, small enough to keep in your pocket, £40-50 if shop around, tried to keep it for ‘best’ but use it everyday now. Easy staff Xmas present as well.
