Levelling fields

I'd drill it with my kv tineseeder direct, then fly over that with my paddle rolls a couple times.
If needed repeat a second year.
It'll get very level after the second year.

You been wandering around my place @farmerm? :)

I am wondering how to level it a bit of PP, as ploughing is contra-indicated!! Cannot even spray or top dress as it is so so lumpy! :(
Use a power harrow, set the depth on the rear packer roller so the tines are just skimming the surface, it can look a bit dramatic but a few days later you wouldn't know as the ant hills although rock hard are broken into fine soil by the power harrow a little weather and growth and you wouldn't know you've done it, but it will be nice and smooth to drive on!

Have taken on managing a farm that has been no till for a while but some of the fields are really quite rough.
don’t want to properly roar fields up because the soil is in good stead underneath.
some kind of shallow tine and levelling have board?
Just drilling at angle won’t sort it out quick enough.
Why did the farmer not level the fields out before no-til, surely drilling depth would be compromised?
They must be rough if your thinking of disturbing the soil ajd!?

Disc drills have good contouring but there is a few fields which are just abit too rough and need sorting.
I don’t mind abit of soil disturbance/loosening if there is an actual reason for doing and it isn’t just for fun or through habit!

Lemken Terradisc is great for levelling at speed, get the soil flying to 50+ cms. Find it very good on levelling ditch spoil also as great height clearance.

That was another way I think would be good for doing it, maybe get DC down the road to put some beans in.

It takes a year or two with a Claydon to do this, and you need to make sure the operator uses the rear tools. You will need good crop residue management to allow this as Claydons do block with trash easily.
