is there an off label EAMU for Liberator herbicide peri/early post emergence, in spring barley as was too wet to spray straight after drilling and rolling. it has sprouted but not through ground yet.
Has anyone used it at that stage or later, if so did it damage crop?

I don’t know the liberator label but I suspect it says pre-em only on spring barley. There won’t be an eamu varying the timing but it almost certainly won’t kill it.

An alternative is the product TOWER. Chlortoluron, DFF, Pendimethalin. Should do the same job. Has an approval for post emergence use on Spring barley if being above board is an objective.

i used it last year at 0.3 l/ha after barley had come up no problems. Did a good job on grass weeds

Used to use is pre-em on spring barley, works nicely and also delays the emergence of any BLWs and so makes that part of the job easier and less time conscious. Trying to get the weeds at the right time before the cover crops in which often means a compromise with fungicide timings as well.
