Put some on for a neighbour here. Same as any other form of fertilizer. Better sometimes as you can put it on in the rain without dust sticking to everything
Year 1 for us last year where I work, grass is far quicker to respond, more even applications. No bags to deal with, I can work away myself and not need a loader driver.
I can like for like cover 40% more area with our sprayer than our spinner but that’ll depend on your own equipment. Maybe not going quite as fast with the sprayer in some fields but less road travel so feel there’s nothing in it for us but liquid just seems to suit……so far
Far quicker regrowth especially after taking silage off, greened up within 48 hours instead of 2 weeks (did both granular and liquid at one farm I worked at) obviously far more accurate and as long as not hot/sunny you can do it in all weathers and with the right nozzles you can go in winds that you won’t be able to open the cab door before the nozzles stop you.
obviously there is the whole refill/transporting/boom unfolding etc issues which does make it a lot slower than bags. Saying that running a bowser with the liquid is very efficient, like running a handler with bags to a spreader if not faster due to not having to fold booms etc
