Sounds like the perfect target for cybercriminals to launch their nefarious deeds. The business does not have a yard or any staff in the UK and does not have a website.

2018 and website still operating, just tried it there, it's unbelievable to think that the policing authorities do not take action to have the site taken down. We live and learn, and have discovered that we are powerless in these situations. Another victim trying to put this behind and move on.
Publicity in relevant press issues would help a lot to save others.
The money is being laundered through UK bank accounts but which legal authority bears the enforcement responsibility for the website and rest of the scam - or another way of asking is where was the crime actually committed and who has the power to shut it down? How difficult is it for some LEGAL powers to be enforced on such a website ?
It cant be v diff surely ?
yeah i get all of that. The money is being laundered through UK bank accounts but which legal authority bears the enforcement responsibility for the website and rest of the scam - or another way of asking is where was the crime actually committed and who has the power to shut it down?
Is it the UK, Panama, Belize, Hong Kong or all the above? What are our authorities relationship with the authorities in these countries. Do their police forces etc. have the money, time and appetite to chase the crimos?
Where are the crimo's actually based? Which of these countries that bears the responsibility has extradition rights. I'll bet its none of the countries mentioned.
Its the internet Wild West 'mare!!
You'd have to co-ordinate that with every ISP from every possible country, where this scam finds victims. Good luck with that.yeah i get all of that.
why cant UK ISPs then have a system that just blocks access to the site from the UK then?
Unless folks are accessing there internet thru a VPN & id say a good percentage wont be sure that would do for a start
Such a shame we just didnt know a HACKER m8 down the pub that could just get into that site & change a few things

Yes I did this way back in November, their recent update simply complained of delays due to workload. So frankly nobody is going to do much at all, given the self inflicted nature of the crime in this instance. There are so many scams around, particularly targeting old people that these plant scams come in with a lower priority I guess. However it does seem that somebody in person is accessing the cash in at least one case, so maybe these people are not all overseas.Regarding blocking these scam sites. The authorities in this country have to work with domain registrars in other countries to get these sites disrupted. The City of London Police say that while they have good relations with some countries, others can be less so, hence it takes time to get these sites disrupted.
Has anyone reported www.lppantsalesuk.com to Action Fraud?
