I thought they'd be the dogs danglies till I saw the neighbours cutting flat wheat last year one way across the tramlines!! He tried every direction and did a lot of acres like that.

No experience of them other than seeing them over the hedge on some of the big contract farming outfits in the area and thought they looked brilliant till last summer

Think it depends on what you grow. Standing wheat and barley, probably not, but OSR, beans and laid cereals, possibly. They undoubtably improve the feed into the machine so should improve output. I go back to late 70's when MF introduced the Powerflow and it was a game changer then.

Hutterite colony next to me run three 45ft macdons. I had 150 acres of very flat canola and after my lexion was done for a couple of day the farm boss sent his man over to help out. Took an hour before he admitted he couldn’t do much with it. It wouldn’t feed but bridged the Draper belts even with the rear pea auger running. After parts arrived my claas maxflex slowly but surely took it off. I have a claas Draper head but only if the crop is stood will it out cut the auger head. In wet crops the Draper does Feed better than the auger regardless of crop

The power flow would be a great head in laid crops. Would like one for short light crops.
